Gainesville, MO – Patty Lynn Allen, affectionately known as Moppy, passed away peacefully at the age of 68, on August 5, 2025. She was surrounded by the love of her family. A woman of unwavering faith, boundless humor, and radiant beauty, she leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and joy that will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born Patty Lynn Williams on January 28, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, to Carol Sanders and Doyle Williams, Patty lived a life guided by her deep belief in God, which anchored her through life’s joys and challenges. Her faith was a beacon, inspiring others with her insight and compassion. Known for her sharp wit and sassy spirit, Moppy could light up any room with her infectious laughter and clever quips, making every moment unforgettable.

Patty, or Moppy as friends and family lovingly called her, was a true friend, always ready with a listening ear, a warm hug, a sincere compliment, or a perfectly timed joke to lift spirits. She attended high school in Springfield, MO. Where she lived most of her life & worked in banking for over a decade. Patty moved to Ozark County to be closer to family and because she loved this beautiful & peaceful area of the Ozarks. During her latter years, Patty worked in the service industry. She served as a cook at Gainesville’s Lion’s Club for many years & cleaned several homes & businesses in the county before retiring.

Patty treasured her church family & time at Anew Church in Gainesville, where her love for her faith & friends shone brightly. Her church family loved her very much & always looked forward to what she might say next. Her intelligence sparkled in her conversations, where she shared wisdom and humor with equal measure. Her beauty—both inside and out—touched everyone she met, leaving a trail of kindness and connection wherever she went. She will be missed by so many.

She most enjoyed spending time with friends and family, thrift store shopping, and her pets, Faunee and Giggles. Her love for her family, friends, (and beloved furbabies) was boundless, and she nurtured those bonds with fierce devotion and joy.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Audrey Breedlove (Estyl) of Gainesville, MO and Avery Rainey (Matt Henegar) of Brookfield, WI, her granddaughters, Sydnie Russian, Juniper Keller, Joy Henegar, grandsons, Jonah Henegar, and Noah Henegar. As well as, many grandpuppies & cherished cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol Sanders/Southwick and Doyle Williams.

No funeral services, but a celebration of her life will be held at a later time.

Patty Lynn Allen, our dear Moppy, will continue to shine through the love and laughter she shared. May her soul rest in eternal peace, wrapped in the arms of her precious Savior.
