Memorial Services for Raymond L. Henry, Age 83 of Howell County, Missouri will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at The Victory Chapel, Peace Valley, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of Always Faithful Memorial Services, West Plains, Missouri.
Raymond Leroy Henry was born on March 12, 1943, in Oklahoma to Joseph Glen Henry and Ida Mae (Walker) Henry.
On May 1, 1964, Raymond married the love of his life, Malinda Sue Miller. Together they build a life centered on faith, family and hard work. They were blessed with four children: Harvey, Sherry Lynn, Rickie Dale and Shawna LaRae.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Glen and Ida Mae Henry, brothers; Darrel Henry and William “Bill” Henry; sisters: Eva Louise Summers, Betty Jean Davis, Donnie Henry and Norman Henry; children, Harvey, Sherry Lynn, Rickie Dale and Shawna LaRae. father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harry and Bertha Miller, brother-in-law Robert Miller, sister-in-law Jane Reno and husband Mark, and Ruth Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife, Malinda Sue Henry, grandchildren: Dylan Henry and Delani Wahome, one sister; Mary (Tom) Reid of West Plains, brother-in-law Glen (Bonnie) Miller of Mtn. View, Mo; Raymond Miller, Harold (Sharon) Miller, sister-in-law, Wilma (David) Schwein, Marilyn (Dan) Duncan, all of Peace Valley, Missouri and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Raymond loved planting a garden and sharing his harvest with others. He spent most of his life laying carpet and took great pride in his work, often pointing out the home he had completed and even donating his services to churches. He also drove a truck for many years and enjoyed fishing at the lake. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren, and his face would light up whenever their names were mentioned.
