Richard “Rick” Wendell Klein, Jr., son of Richard Wendell, Sr. and Eleanor (Oots) Klein, was born March 13, 1961, in Oakland, California and departed this life March 28, 2022, at his home in Norwood, Missouri. He was 61 years of age.
Rick was a helper, he enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He was also quite the storyteller, enjoyed working on his truck and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Rick married Evelyn Neeley on March 27, 2022 in Houston, Missouri, and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children, Angelina Klein of Norwood, Missouri, Brandon Lansdown of Norwood, Missouri and Austin Lansdown of Norwood, Missouri, two grandchildren, Adrian and Adelyn Lansdown, three brothers, Robert Klein of Independence, Missouri, Randy Klein of Peculiar, Missouri and Ronald Klein of Slater, Missouri, two sisters, Ruth Tiffany of Glendale, Oregon and Renee Klein Spencer of Warsaw, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Rick was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita and Roberta.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
