While in school, Sabrina was a member of the Miner Marching Band and Tau Beta Sigma, a music sorority. An avid trumpet player, she continued to share her love of music throughout her life, performing publicly as recently as the 2025 Springfield Pride and Christmas parades.

Her friends and family fondly remember her love of NASCAR, Chiefs Football, and gaming of all kinds (video games, cards, board games, RPGs, LARP, and more). When not sharing her favorite pastimes with loved ones, Sabrina found joy and strength in long-distance running and was training for her first half-marathon.

Above all, she was a lover of literature and could always be seen with a book in her hand. She had a lifelong passion for writing, which she never stopped pursuing. Her most recent short story, “Life, and the Wind,” was published in the November 2025 issue of Fruit Magazine.

In recent years, Sabrina took on a larger role as an advocate for the transgender community in Springfield, Missouri. After her first Trans Day of Visibility in March 2021, she joined the Springfield Transgender and Ally Resource Team (START) to help plan the Trans Day of Remembrance that November and each year since. Sabrina was recently elected Chair and planned to develop new programs and continue the events she had helped refine over the last three years.

Sabrina was also deeply involved with her local LGBTQ+ community center, The GLO Center, as a member, volunteer, support group facilitator, and committee member. She generously shared her time, care, and talents to improve the lives of those around her. Sabrina also served on staff as a Center Intern, supporting community events such as the Queer Artist Showcase and Ozarks Pridefest. Sabrina most-especially cherished her role as a facilitator of the Refuge Transgender/Non-Binary Support Group, where she created a consistent, welcoming space for people to gather in friendship, find support, and feel seen.

Sabrina is loved and remembered by all as a kind and compassionate soul, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. Her unique sense of humor could brighten any room, and her laughter was truly contagious. She had a gift for making others feel valued and helped many friends discover new passions and hobbies. Whether attending movies, book clubs, art shows, or swimming with friends in Springfield, every experience was enriched by her presence. Sabrina will be deeply missed by her loving family and her enormous circle of friends.

Sabrina is survived by her mother, Carolyn Lindaman, of Willow Springs, Missouri; sisters, Theresa (Lindaman) Kiddoo, of Eagle River, Wisconsin and Bobbi Lindaman, of Largo, Florida; brother, Jeffrey Lindaman and wife Shizuka, of Saint David, Arizona; Nephew, Cade Kiddoo and wife Morgan, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and great-niece, Maggie Kiddoo, also of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Sabrina is preceded in death by her father, Beryl Lindaman.
