On April 14, 2007, Terry married John Hodge, whose love and partnership were a constant source of strength and joy. Together, they created countless memories, with some of their happiest times spent at Silver Dollar City, a place they both cherished.

She was a proud mother of seven children, Jonie Sanders (Derek), Lisa Noble, Michael Walls (Amanda), Tiffany Counterman (Roger), Madison Hodge, Anthony Hodge, and Dawson Hodge. Her children were her world, and she delighted in seeing them grow and create families of their own.

Terry’s greatest joy in life was being “Nanny” to Haylee Farney (Trenton), Tanner Sanders (Hope), Raegan Sanders, Reese Sanders, Kyleigh Ragland (Anthony), Wyatt Noble, Maddie Noble, Darrin Walls (Amber), Kenyon Scott, Axton Walls, Maddox Walls, Cannon Walls, Jordyn Counterman, Colton Counterman, and Brynli Counterman. She especially loved summertime with them – taking them floating, sharing laughter on the water, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Her grandchildren were her heart and soul, and she treasured every moment with them.

She also adored her 6 great-granddaughters, Pepper Vanscoyk, Mavely Vanscoyk, Hollyn Sanders, Londyn Sanders, Lakelynn Farney, and Sophia Walls. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she loved nothing more than being surrounded by their laughter and love.

Terry’s life was defined by her kindness, her strength in the face of challenges, and her unwavering care for those she loved. She created a home where family gathered, stories were shared, and love was abundant. Her memory will live on through her children and grandchildren and all who were blessed to know her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Bellew; her brother, Bradley Land; her sisters, Sue Lindsey, Rhonda Nickelson, and Connie Davidson; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Sanders.
