Thomas Bradley Couch

Thomas Bradley “Brad” Couch, Sr. son of Gordon Roscoe Couch and Dorothy Mitchell Couch, was born July 4, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and departed this life July 18, 2022, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 65 years and 14 days.

He was united in marriage to Melody Heathman on October 5, 1996, in Battlefield, Missouri, and to this union two children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mitch Couch.

Brad is survived by his wife, Melody; two sons, Thomas Bradley Couch, Jr., and Timothy James Couch, all of Seymour, and a brother, Rocky Couch; other relatives and friends.

He was born in Tulsa, then moved to Texas as a child, then to Alton, Missouri and finally to Springfield, Missouri where he attended Central High School. After marrying Melody, they moved to Seymour in 2005. Brad was a drill core technician, drilling core samples and testing them before people could start construction on the land. He also tested asphalt to be sure it met the standards required.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, woodworking, grilling and was a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Brad was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. We have many special memories that we will always treasure.
