Survivors include: 5 children, Jay Brawley (Sherrie) of Thayer, MO, Steven Brawley of Thayer, MO, DeWayne Brawly of Kearney, MO, Wilma Jones (Gary) of West Plains, MO, and Margaret Brawley of Thayer, MO; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 step-brother, Dean Reed of Springfield, MO; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Grover and Margaret Storms; 2 husbands, Hubert Brawley and Chester Hensley; 1 daughter, Jennifer Brawley; 1 daughter-in-law, Marjorie Brawley; 2 sisters, Mary and Ruthie; 5 brothers, Ted, Wayne, Homer, Jimmy, and Alan.
Virginia loved to cook, as well as sewing, embroidery, playing cards, and thrifting. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family.
