THIRTY-SEVEN area softball enthusiasts participated in the recent Grizzly Softball Skills Camp hosted by the coaching staff of Missouri State University-West Plains’ (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team. They were assisted by volunteers Kate Tyree, assistant coach of the West Plains High School Zizzer softball team, and Karsyn Smith, a member of the Drury University Panther softball team. Campers learned fundamental skills of the game and participated in other activities, games and scrimmages. Community First Banking Company sponsored the camp. Organizers said they look forward to hosting additional camps in the future.
