The SEC Offensive Player of the Week, Badie set career highs for carries (31), rushing yards (254) and all-purpose yards (294) in Mizzou’s 37-28 road win at Vanderbilt on Oct. 30. He also scored his 10th and 11th rushing touchdowns of the season. Badie also hauled in eight catches for 40 yards, good for an all-purpose yardage total of 294 – an SEC and Power 5 best this season and third nationally.

He has scored a touchdown in all eight games and has five multi-score games this season. Against the Commodores, Badie ran his career rushing total to 2,125 yards and his season rushing total to 989 yards. His 254 yards were the fifth-most in a single game in Missouri history and he is the first player in Mizzou history to rush for 200 yards in three or more games in a single season.

The SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, Mevis netted three field goals from 46, 32, and 52 yards, including two in the fourth quarter to stretch Mizzou’s lead to two scores at Vandy on Saturday. Against the Commodores, Mevis stayed perfect on PATs, going 3-for-3 on the day, improving to 34-for-34 on the season and 62-for-62 in his career.

Mevis’ streak of 19-straight made field goals (dating back to 2020) now leads the nation. Four FBS kickers have made field goals of 56 yards in 2021. Of the four, Mevis is the lone kicker with multiple 50+ yard attempts who remains perfect (3-for-3).

Mevis was also named a Lou Groza Award Star of the Week, recognizing the top FBS kickers each week. The Palm Beach County Sports Commission Lou Groza Award is presented annually to college football’s top kicker. Fans can vote for their favorite Lou Groza Star of the Week here.

Mizzou continues the 2021 season at Georgia on Sat., Nov. 6. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT / 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
