JJ Wetherholt crushed a leadoff homer off Paul Skenes, and Jordan Walker followed later in the inning as St. Louis put up five early runs on the Pirates ace. The Cardinals rolled to a 10-5 win to complete a four-game sweep in Pittsburgh. Alec Burleson drove in three runs today, five for the series. For Walker it was his 9th homer of the year.. St. Louis hands Skenes his fifth straight loss against them, while Pittsburgh drops its fifth in a row.
