Cardinals 12, White Sox 2 and Royals 6, Rangers 1

The St. Louis Cardinals scored five runs in the top of the second during a 12-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at Rate Field. Brendan Donovan rattled off four hits in the victory, while Alec Burleson and Victor Scott-the-second both went deep. Matthew Liberatore earned his fourth win after holding the White Sox to two runs on five hits in six innings.

Salvador Perez homered twice, Bobby Witt Jr. once and the Royals stopped a six-game losing streak with a 6-1 win over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night. Seth Lugo struck out a season-high nine.
