The Cardinals picked up a 2-1 extra-inning win over the Mets, finishing the series strong by taking two of three. Nolan Gorman tied the game in the sixth, and pitching kept things in check from there. Matthew Liberatore worked six solid innings, and Gordon Graceffo escaped a bases-loaded jam in the 11th. Then with two outs in the bottom of the inning, Masyn Winn delivered a bloop single to right that brought home the winning run, giving St. Louis a walk-off victory.
The Cardinals are off Thursday and open a weekend series in Detroit starting Friday afternoon at 12:10.
