Cardinals 3-1 and 5-4 over Orioles

The Cardinals took two from the Orioles earn their first sweep of the 2024 season. The first game of the day was a completion of Tuesday’s rain-suspended game. Nolan Gorman hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to lift the Cardinals to a 3-1 win. St. Louis then rallied from down 3-0 to win the series finale 5-4. Masyn Winn hit his second home run of the season, and Brendan Donovan had a two-run double. Reliever John King got his first win with two scoreless innings in relief. Ryan Fernandez allowed a run in the ninth inning but hung on to record his first save. St. Louis is in third place in the NL Central at 23-and-26.
