The Cardinals used a four-run fifth inning to take down the San Francisco Giants 4-3 in St. Louis. Nolan Gorman, Ivan Herrera and Lars Nootbaar each had an RBI to lead St. Louis at the plate. Starting pitcher Sonny Gray earned his 13th win after striking out six and allowing three runs through five-and-a-third frames. Riley O’Brien recorded his third save as the Cardinals improved to 72-and-72. They send Miles Mikolas to the mound against Seattle tonight.
