The St. Louis Cardinals earned a 9-4 Spring Training win over the Houston Astros at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium yesterday. Yohel Pozo, Jimmy Crooks, Alec Burleson, and Jon Jon Gazdar all homered in the victory, while Matthew Liberatore allowed just one run on two hits in three innings. The Cardinals are 4-2 in exhibition play. Quinn Mathews starts for St. Louis against the Mets today.
