The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals both played weekend baseball on the road this weekend with two very different outcomes.
Th Royals, who have now lost seven straight games and they are tied with the New York Mets for the MLB worst record. The Yankees beat the Royals Friday 4-2, Saturday 13-4 and Sunday 7-0. The Royals hope Kaufman Stadium will be the magic they need to get back into the win column as they begin a three game series with Baltimore tonight.
The Cardinals traveled to Houston to face the Astros a one time division opponent. The Cardinals who are now 13-8 won game one 9-4 Friday, Saturday they won 7-5 and Sunday 7-5. They continue their road trip with three games in Miami before coming home for a weekend series against the Mariners.
