The St. Louis Cardinals began the second half of the MLB season on a sour note. The Cardinals were swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 5-3 loss at Chase Field yesterday. St. Louis surrendered four runs in the bottom of the first and trailed the rest of the way. Miles Mikolas was charged with his seventh loss after allowing five runs on four hits in four innings. The Cardinals are in fourth place in the NL Central at 51-and-49. They send Michael McGreevy to the mound against the Rockies tonight.
