The Chiefs and Royals still haven’t picked stadium sites, but the Chiefs are giving Kansas a hard look. Team president Mark Donovan sent a letter to Kansas lawmakers asking for more time beyond the end-of-June deadline to work out a stadium financing deal. Kansas officials are set to meet July 7th to talk about extending that deadline.
