Chiefs draft recap

The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books. The Chiefs began by selecting Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy with the 28th overall pick in the first round. On Friday, Kansas City selected BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia in the second round. The Chiefs closed out the draft on Saturday by selecting TCU tight end Jared Wiley, Washington State safety Jaden Hicks, Penn State center Hunter Nourzad, Tennessee cornerback Kamal Hadden and Holy Cross guard C.J. Hanson.
