The St. Louis Cardinals had just three hits during a 3-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs at Busch Stadium. The Cards gave up a home run to Michael Busch in the top of the second and trailed the rest of the way. Andre Pallante was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering a pair of runs on seven hits in five innings. St. Louis is in third place in the NL Central at 44-and-38. The Cardinals send Sonny Gray to the mound against Cleveland tonight.
