Eagles chased off by the Wildcats, 27-64

The Mountain View-Birch Tree Liberty Eagles took on the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats on Monday, February 5th. The Eagles entered this game with a height disadvantage as many Wildcats players are over 6-feet tall.

The Eagles ran into a rough first quarter, with turnovers and missed shots. Eagles trail by 8, 9-17. An 8-point run by the Wildcats opened the second quarter and they would continue to run with few checks by the Eagles. Liberty would be outscored by Logan-Rogersville by 3 points but, the sizable lead by the Wildcats kept the Eagles down. Eagles trail at halftime 19 to 35.

The Wildcats kept the Eagles spooked in the third quarter, with Liberty scoring 8 points and Logan-Rogersville scoring big with 20 points. The Eagles fell further behind with a score of 27 to 55. The TurboClock was enabled early in the fourth quarter as the Eagles were unable to stop the offense of the Wildcats. 

The Liberty Eagles fall to the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats, 27 to 64. The Mountain View-Birch Tree Liberty Eagles will next play against the Houston Tigers at home on Tuesday, February 6th at 7 p.m.
