West Plains Zizzers welcome Coach Jessica Ball to the Zizzer Coaching Staff for the 2025-26 school year. Coach Ball will serve as the Head Coach of the Lady Zizzer Soccer program. She brings four years of coaching experience and a strong passion for the game, along with a background as a former player. After stepping away from coaching to spend time at home with her three sons, Coach Ball is excited to return to the sidelines with renewed energy and commitment.
Drury basketball player Sara Mendel, daughter of Danny and Shannon Mendel of Ava and granddaughter of Sandy Heriford and Robert Klineline of Gainesville, has been selected to play for the U.S. National Team when it competes this summer in Brazil.

Free youth football camp in Mountain Home at Bomber Stadium it’s the second annual Ryan Mallett football camp for grades K through 8th to be held on Tuesday June 10th 9am to 1130am young football players will learn the basics of football and also get to meet former Ark Razorback Jarius Wright.
