Tonight, August 22nd will be the West Plains Zizzer football Red and White Scrimmage at 7pm. The Kiwanis will have concessions. It will be a great night to come out and get a sneak peek of your 2025 Zizzers.
The Liberty Eagles will take part in the SARCOXIE Jamboree this Friday night. Mountain Grove will also be hosting a Jamboree with Thayer, Willow Springs and Houston and the Salem Tigers will go to the Sullivan Jamboree this Friday night.

Douglas County Coats for Kids is teeing off a new fundraising tradition with its first-ever Coats for Kids Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Ava Country Club. The tournament will follow a two-man scramble format, with tee times scheduled for 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The entry fee is $100 per team. Lunch will be available, but only through donations.
