Former Ava Bear basketball player Andrew Dalton is playing at College of the Ozarks. And Saturday Andrew scored 50 points and set a new single game scoring record in leading the Bobcats to a double overtime win over Nelson University . Andrew was a four year starter for the Ava Bears in a career highlighted by becoming the Ava High School career scoring leader, three times All-State selection, and SCA MVP.
Congratulations to Bunker boys basketball head coach Rod Gorman on earning career win 700 Saturday night at the Liberty Shooyout his Bunker Eagles defeated Mountain Grove Panthers 52-51.
Licking Wildcat Senior Karson Walker breaks the all-time single game scoring record previously held by the legendary Dale Stanley from the mid 60’s! The old record stood at 52 points, and Karson scored 54 points Saturday at the Liberty Shootout in the win over the Alton Comets 86 to 64. Karson hit 12 3s in the win. We talked with Karson after the game.
