Tuesday the Willow Springs Bears hosted a golf meet at the Thomas F Benyo Municipal Golf Course. And the Willow Bears defended their turf by winning their own meet with a total score of 317. Braiden Moran was the individual medalist with a 73, Marc Prough finished second with a 73, Ian Lawson finished 8th with an 81 Holt McGinnis shot 88 and Bo Wilson turned in a 91.

The MSU-WP Lady Grizzlies fell to State Fair in softball, In game one, the teams battled for 14 innings before State Fair came out on top 6-2. In game two, Grizzlies came up just short, 10-7. Next games are scheduled for today at St Charles 2pm and 4pm.
