The West Plains Zizzers played in the semifinals of class 5 district 6 last night at Brason vs the Pirates with more here is Harlan Hutchison.
The Willow Springs Lady Bear will face the #1 team in the state in Diamond on Monday at 11am. The winner will play for a state championship on Tuesday at 11am the loser will have to turn around and play again on Monday at 2pm. All games are being played at Killian Softball Complex in Springfield. Both Willow Springs Lady Bear games will air on KUKU 100.3. Also making the final four is Lone Jack and Kennett.

The WPHS Zizzer Baseball Field is going to be full turf, Renovations to the field will begin as soon as our current season ends. Because of this summer plans Zizzer Baseball Camp will be held June 17-20 at the City Baseball Fields.
Saturday, May 25, the West Plains Sunrise Rotary Club will host the 22nd Annual Tom Smith Sunrise Rotary Classic at North Terra Golf Course. The golf tournament will start at 10 a.m. and is a 3-person scramble. Registration is open at $225 per team. You can call 417-256-9824 to register. There will be cash prizes in all the flights. $500 for first, $300 for second, and $200 for third. There are also numerous hole prizes, one of which is a 2024 Club Car Golf Cart sponsored by Clear Creek Golf Carts and Utility Vehicles. There is also going to be free food and beverages.
