The 86th Annual Mansfield boy’s Invitational tournament gets underway tonight with Liberty playing Houston at 6pm and Mansfield playing Bakersfield at 730. Liberty Houston game will air on The Fox 96.9 FM.

Early season high school basketball state rankings are out and some local teams cracking the top ten are in class 5 girls West Plains is ranked #1, in class 4 girls Ava is #3, in class 3 girls Licking is #5, and in class 2 girls Ellington is #2. And on the boys state rankings making the top ten in our area, in class 3 Thayer is #7 and in class 2 boys Hartville is #7 and Norwood is #8 and in class 1 South Iron is #1 and Bunker is #3.
