The Kansas City Chiefs have resigned defensive lineman Chris Jones to a five-year contract with $95 million in guaranteed money. Jones will make $32 million in each of the first three years of the contract. The deal also makes him the highest-paid defensive tackle by yearly salary. Jones had 10.5 sacks this past season and led the team with 14 tackles for loss. He was named a first team All Pro and won his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs.

The Blues snapped their three-game skid after closing out their road trip with a 5-1 win over the Bruins. St Louis is six points behind Vegas for the final wildcard who have a game in hand over the Blues who finish this long road trip 2-3. The Blues host the LA Kings tomorrow night.
