Class 5 district 6 baseball seedings are in and the West Plains Zizzers got the third seed in a very tough district. One seed went to Willard and the two seed was handed out to Branson. The district tournament will get under way on Wednesday at Branson. The West Plains Zizzers will face Bolivar in the first round with a 6pm start game will air on KDY 102.5 fm.
The Willow Springs Lady Bear are district softball champs as well as SCA rival Houston Lady Tigers and they will match up against one another in the Quarter final round of the state playoffs on Tuesday at Willow Springs at 430pm game will air on KUKU 100.3. the winner will advance to the final four in girls softball.

Class 2 district 2 semi finals Greenville vs Alton and Van Buren vs East Carter today weather permitting games are being played at East Carter. Class 2 district 10 semi finals Mansfield vs Cabool and Gainesville vs Bakersfield weather permitting games are being played at Mansfield. Class 3 district 9 semifinals Licking vs Steelville and Belle vs Dixson games are being played at Steelville Tuesday. Class 3 district 10 semifinals Houston vs Seymour and Willow Springs vs Thayer weather permitting today games will be played at Houston.
The No. 7 seed University of Missouri softball team (43-15) will play host to the 2024 NCAA Columbia Regional May 17-19 at the Mizzou Softball. After making a run to the championship game of the 2024 SEC Tournament, the Tigers were given the No. 7 overall national seed. Joining the Tigers in the Columbia Regional field is Washington, Indiana, and Omaha. Mizzou will open play on Friday, May 17 at Mizzou Softball Stadium against Omaha, after Indiana and Washington face off. Missouri will take on Omaha at 4:30 p.m
