The Grizzlies went toe-to-toe with the Vikings in a gritty four-set showdown Tuesday night but came up just short in a tough road loss. Despite flashes of strong play and intense rallies, the Grizzlies couldn’t quite push the match to a fifth set.
Now, all eyes turn to the home court as the team gears up for the highly anticipated Grizzly Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the West Plains Civic Center. The tournament promises two full days of top-tier volleyball action.
The Grizzlies open play Friday at 6:00 p.m. against Panola College, followed by a Saturday doubleheader with matches at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. against Iowa Western and Fort Scott Community College, respectively both games will air on The Fox 969 and be live video streamed at ozarkradio news dot com.
