The Royals had their five-game winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to Cleveland. Salvador Perez drove in the Royals’ only run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. There’s concern surrounding Royals ace Cole Ragans. He left yesterday’s game after three scoreless innings because of soreness and he wanted to be cautious. Ragans struck out four and allowed just one hit before leaving after 58 pitches. The 28-year-old has undergone two Tommy John surgeries in his career. The Royals wrap up the series with the Guardians this afternoon.
