It’s UConn vs. Purdue In Title Game

The showdown for the NCAA men’s basketball championship is set: UConn will face Purdue on tonight after knocking out Alabama 86-72 in a Saturday night semifinal in Phoenix.

In the first men’s semifinal at the Final Four, it was No. 1 Purdue defeating No. 11 NC State 63-50.  Zach Edey had 20 points and 12 rebounds, becoming the first player in tournament history to record six consecutive games of 20 point and 10 rebounds.

The Huskies are aiming to become the first team in men’s college basketball to repeat as champions since Florida did it in 2006-07, while the Boilermakers will be playing for their first basketball championship.
