The Willow Springs Bears faced the Galena Bears in the 7th Place game of the Sparta Tournament Saturday afternoon. The Bears lead after one quarter 15-11 and extended their lead to nine at the end of the first half 38-29.

In the second half Willow Springs remained hot from the field leading by 20 at the end of the third. More of the same in the fourth quarter as they win going away 89-63.
In the game senior guard Kolby James scored 42 points which moved him in the first place all-time in career scoring at Willow Springs with 2015 career points breaking the record held by his father.
