The West Plains Lady Zizzers battled Marshfield through four competitive quarters but came up short, falling 51–42 in the Pink and White Semifinals.
Marshfield used its size to jump out early, leading 10–6 after one quarter. The Lady Zizzers answered in the second, with strong play from Green, McWilliams, Scharnhorst, and Wahome to rally back and take a 24–23 lead into halftime.
Marshfield regained momentum in the third quarter, pushing the pace and building a 40–33 advantage heading into the final period.
West Plains continued to fight in the fourth, cutting into the deficit behind key baskets from Green and Peterson, but the Jays were able to close it out at the free-throw line down the stretch. The Lady Zizzers will play for third place today vs Republic at 4 p.m.
