The Royals fell to the Mariners in extra innings. Kansas City lost to Seattle 10-8 in 10 innings at Kauffman Stadium. Tucker Davidson was charged with his second loss after he allowed two runs, one earned, in one inning of relief. Bobby Witt Jr. hit a grand slam, while Michael Massey was 3-for-5 with two RBI in the losing effort. The Royals are at the bottom of the AL Central at 39-and-82. They will host the Mariners again tonight.
