Top-seeded Michigan pulled away in the second half to end Saint Louis’ season with a second-round NCAA Tournament win in Buffalo. The final score was 95-72.
The Billikens finish a historic year at 29-6, a school record for wins. Amari McCottry led SLU with 14 points, Dion Brown added 13, and Robbie Avila had nine in his final collegiate game.

It was tight early with seven lead changes, and Saint Louis even led by four late in the first half, but Michigan closed on a big run to take control. The Billikens cut it to four in the second half, before the Wolverines answered again, pushing the lead to double digits and sealing the win to advance to the Sweet 16.
