The No. 16 Missouri Tigers defeated Auburn 23-17 in double overtime on Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. Quarterback Beau Pribula ran for a 3-yard touchdown in the second overtime to secure the win in his first career road start. Ahmad Hardy scored both of Missouri’s touchdowns in regulation, including a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter that tied the game. Pribula completed 23 of 40 passes for 252 yards, to improve Missouri’s record to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in Southeastern Conference play, while Auburn fell to 3-4 and 0-4 in the SEC.
The Tigers are now ranked 15th and will face 10th-ranked Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday at 2:30. Eli Drinkwitz has never beaten a team ranked 12th or higher in his career at Mizzou.
