The Phillies have locked in Kyle Schwarber with a huge five-year, $150 million contract, ensuring their slugger stays in Philadelphia through at least 2030.
Schwarber is fresh off a monster 2025 season — he led the league with 56 home runs and drove in 132 runs, finishing second in NL MVP voting.
The Los Angeles Dodgers reached a three-year, $69 million deal with former New York Mets reliever Edwin Diaz.
The deal by the Dodgers set an average annual value record for a relief pitcher.
Diaz, a three-time All-Star, logged a 1.63 ERA and converted 28 of 31 save chances for the Mets last season.
