No. 7 Seed Softball to Host 2024 NCAA Columbia Regional

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 7 seed University of Missouri softball team (43-15) will play host to the 2024 NCAA Columbia Regional May 17-19 at Mizzou Softball Stadium.

After making a run to the championship game of the 2024 SEC Tournament, the Tigers earned the No. 7 overall national seed.

Joining the Tigers in the Columbia Regional field are Washington, Indiana, and Omaha.

Mizzou will open play on Friday, May 17 at Mizzou Softball Stadium against Omaha, after Indiana and Washington face off.

Missouri will take on Omaha at 4:30 p.m., CT on ESPN+ while the Indiana/Washington game is set for 2 p.m., CT on ESPN+.

Mizzou will host a Regional for the third time in  four seasons. Overall, Missouri will compete in its 17th-straight NCAA Tournament (27 total regional appearances) this season.

The Tigers will look to reach the Women’s College World Series for the seventh time in program history. Mizzou’s last appearance came in 2011 when the Tigers were No. 9 overall seed.

 

Head coach Larissa Anderson and pitchers Cierra Harrison and Marissa McCann will preview the Columbia Regional Monday on Tiger Talk at at Bud’s Classic BBQ, 304 S Ninth Street Columbia. The show runs from 6 to 7 p.m., CT. Metered street parking is available on S. Ninth Street with additional spaces in the Hitt Street Parking Structure (411 Hitt Street Columbia, MO 65201).

TICKET SALES TIMELINE

  • May 12 – May 13 (Noon, CT): All-session passes on sale for 2024 season ticket holders.
  • May 13 (2 p.m., CT): Donor presale.
  • May 14 (10 a.m., CT): Remaining all-session passes on sale for the general public.
  • May 15 (10 a.m., CT): Individual session tickets on sale for the general public.

 

TICKET PRICES

All-session passes provide access to every game of the Columbia Regional. All-session passes are priced at $35 (reserved chairback), $25 (reserved bleacher/GA berm for adults, no youth/senior rate) and $20 (youth/senior GA berm). Individual session tickets are priced at $20 (reserved chairback, if available), $15 (reserved bleacher/GA berm for adults, if available) and $10 (youth/senior GA berm).
