Reds 10, Cardinals 3

The Reds scored four runs in the first inning and cruised to a 10-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at the Great American Ball Park. Spencer Steer led the way for Cincinnati at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored. Cincinnati starter Ben Lively earned the win after allowing two earned runs and striking out eight through six frames. The Reds remain at the bottom of the NL Central at 21-and-28. Cardinals starter Steven Matz fell to 0-and-6 after allowing six earned through four innings. Brendan Donovan and Lars Nootbaar homered as St. Louis slipped to 22-and-29.
