Jonathan India delivered the big swing, a grand slam as part of a seven-run sixth inning that put Kansas City firmly in control. Kyle Isbel had a perfect night at the plate, going 4 for 4 with a home run, while Noah Cameron gave the Royals five solid innings in his season debut. Kansas City built a large lead and then weathered a late push from Minnesota, with Lucas Erceg closing it out.
