The Royals completed a sweep of the Oakland A’s with an 8-4 win at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals led by three entering the bottom of the sixth before breaking the game open with a four-run inning. Vinnie Pasquantino had three RBI in the win, while Maikel Garcia and Bobby Witt Jr. each drove in a pair of runs. Brady Singer earned his fourth win after striking out nine and giving up one run on six hits in six innings. The Royals are second in the AL Central at 29-and-19. They remain home to host the Detroit Tigers tonight. Right-hander Michael Wacha will start opposite Detroit righty Reese Olson.
