Drury University men’s basketball coach Chris Foster announced the signing of Hartville’s Ryce Piper. Ryce Piper helped Hartville to an undefeated season and their second straight state championship in 2020-21. He was named a Class 3 First Team All-State performer and was a finalist for Missouri’s Mr. Show-Me Basketball as the state’s top male player. Piper, 6’4″ and 185 pounds, averaged 17.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and two steals per game while shooting 61 percent from the field in 2020-21.

It’s time to mark your calendars for the O-R-N Cares Charity Golf tournament at the North Terra Golf Course in West Plains Friday July 30TH O-R-N Cares will be raising money to benefit The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #43’s Shop with a Cop. Tammy Miller has been named the Activities Director for the West Plains R7 School district. Miller has many years of experience in coaching, athletics, and instruction from Rolla, Logan-Rogersville, and Mountain Grove. She is a 1991 graduate of the West Plains High School. Miller will replace Greg Simpkins, who served 31 years in the district and recently retired.

 


The STL Cardinals finished a four-game series with the Pirates Sunday afternoon loosing 7-2 with more here is John Rooney.

 

 

The Cardinals host the Diamondbacks tonight pregame at 620 first pitch at 705 all on kuku 100.3.

 

The Royals played the Texas Rangers Sunday and lost 4-1. The Royals head to Boston to take on the Red Sox tonight at 610.

Fourth of July 5 Mile Race -1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at the West Plains High School track.  Registration starts at 6 am races start at 7.
