The YMCA/G&W Foods 18 hole 2 person scramble golf tournament is coming up at the Thomas F Benyo Municipal golf course in Willow Springs Saturday April 23rd with a tee time of 10am. Sign up at the YMCA in Willow Springs or call 417-469-5101. Deadline to sign up is Tue April 19th.

Dates have been set for Grizzly Cheer Team clinics and tryouts at Missouri State University-West Plains. Clinics will be 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Student Recreation Center, on the MSU-WP campus. Seven men, seven women and one mascot will be chosen at this time. The clinics and tryouts are open to area high school seniors and current and incoming MSU-WP students. No experience is necessary to be on the team. Cheer team hopefuls must attend at least one of these two clinics to try out for the squad, Cheer team members will receive a $1,000 scholarship each year for being part of the team.
On Thursday April 14, we will be honoring and recognizing West Plains Zizzer, Joe Bill Dixon for his many years of service and retirement in 2021. This will take place at the Zizzer Relays between 215-230 pm.
The Willow Springs Men’s Golf League will start May 5th at 530pm, the league will continue to be a two-person 9 hole scramble, there will be a signup sheet inside the pro-shop on the bulletin board. Members and nonmembers are welcome to play in the Thursday night men’s league at Willo
