Blues get the win last night over the Panthers 4-3 in O/T. The Blues play the Red Wings Thursday bight at 7pm all on Q94.

The University of Missouri men’s basketball team dominated both ends of the floor in its 72-44 win against Eastern Illinois, Tuesday night at Mizzou Arena. Kobe Brown led the effort with his third consecutive double-double, in addition to a career-high five steals.

Area youngsters entering grades two through eight are invited to participate in the Grizzly Basketball Camp Dec. 20-22 at the West Plains Civic Center. The camp is being hosted by Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay, Assistant Coach Jason Owens and members of the Grizzly Basketball team. For more information about the camp, call 417-255-7991

 The Final Missouri High School State Football Rankings are out and in Class 4 West Plains finishes at #5. In Class 2 Ava finishes at # 5 and Fair Grove finishes at #7. In Class 1 Thayer finishes at # 4.

When Hartville lost to Springfield Catholic 51-41 in the championship of the Clever Tournament on Saturday, it marked the end of one of the greatest runs for a boys basketball program in Missouri history. The loss snapped a 45-game winning streak for Hartville that ranks No. 7 all-time in Missouri history. Hartville’s last loss prior to Saturday came in a 69-61 overtime game against Dora on Feb. 1, 2020.
