On February 24, 2026, as the Zizzer Basketball team hosts Hillcrest, fans will also be treated to one of the most meaningful moments of the season a Unified Special Olympics Intrasquad Scrimmage held between the JV and Varsity games.
The night tips off with the Freshman game at 4:30 p.m., followed by the JV and Varsity matchups. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the spotlight will shift to the Unified athletes, who will take the floor for a 10-minute scrimmage featuring a running clock and an atmosphere filled with encouragement, celebration, and school pride.
For those who missed the Unified event in early December, this is another chance to witness something truly special. It’s the kind of moment that brings smiles, a few happy tears, and a powerful reminder of what high school sports are really about — inclusion, teamwork, and community.
