Three Local State Farm Agents Join Forces to Sponsor Scoreboard for West Plains Baseball Field

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The West Plains Area Dugout Club is proud to announce a major community partnership with three local State Farm agents — Ramona Heiney, Adam Mansfield, and Justin Shelby — who have come together as joint donors to purchase the new scoreboard for the baseball field being built at 1410 Bill Virdon Blvd in West Plains.

The contribution marks a major milestone in the Dugout Club’s “Dirt to Diamonds” campaign, the community-driven effort to construct a permanent home field for area baseball programs. The new State Farm-sponsored scoreboard will stand behind center field as a lasting symbol of teamwork and community pride.

“This is a perfect example of what happens when local businesses and community leaders work together,” said Robbie Crites, President of the West Plains Area Dugout Club. “Ramona, Adam, and Justin didn’t just talk about supporting the community—they stepped up and made a real, lasting difference.”

The scoreboard will feature modern LED technology and display the State Farm logo in recognition of the agents’ joint sponsorship. It will provide a professional-quality feature that reflects the spirit and pride of West Plains baseball.

“Our goal has always been to give these players and families a true home field—something the community can be proud of,” said Crites. “This scoreboard will light up every inning, every win, and every memory that’s made out there. It’s more than just a piece of equipment; it’s a sign of progress.  We’re incredibly thankful for Ramona, Adam and Justin and this is just another example of their service to the community and non-profits.”
