Tigers’ Tarik Skubal, Pirates’ Paul Skenes Win Cy Young Awards

Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal won the American League Cy Young Award for the second straight year. He finished the season 13–6 with a 2.21 ERA, leading the AL in ERA and WHIP.

In the National League, Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates won the NL Cy Young Award, earning all 30 first-place votes. He posted a 10–10 record with a 1.97 ERA and led MLB in WHIP.
