Houston won the tip to get the game under way. There was a couple of scoreless possessions to start the game, but then both teams got onto the scoreboard fast. Willow had some great steals to open up their game and caught a lead fast, causing Houston to call a timeout after a 10-0 run by the bears. The tigers had trouble turning over the ball and struggled to find some buckets. The bears were strong in the 1st quarter, establishing a great lead over the tigers. The bears lead 24-8 at the end of the first quarter. The tigers improved in the 2nd quarter, but the bears just kept making shots. The bears did an exceptional job stealing the ball in the first half, and they sure did an exceptional job scoring as well. The bears lead at halftime 51 – 18, pure domination by the bears.
The second half opened up with the same energy from the bears, non-stop scoring. The bears had their foot on the gas for the entire game, never stopping their scoring dominance. The tigers had an impressive quarter scoring some great shots to try and get back in the game. The bears offense was very impressive in this game. The bears lead 75-36 at the end of the 3rd quarter, sitting comfortably with a huge lead. The turbo clock started at the beginning of the 4th quarter due to the massive lead by the bears. The bears did have some sloppy fouls nearing the end of the game. The tigers dropped down the lead a little bit but it just was not enough to catch up. The bears walk away with the win with the score of 82-42.
