Willow Springs Bears Lose to Branson Pirates in Blue & Gold Holiday Tournament

The Willow Springs Bears competed in the Blue & Gold Holiday tournament today, facing off against the Branson Pirates. The Willow Springs Bear’s had difficulty in the start of the match, losing a lot of ground to the Pirates, ending the first quarter 23 to 12.

This fast match continued into the second quarter with no real change in the pace of the game, the Bear’s ending the halftime mark with 39 to 27, favoring the Pirates.

The Willow Springs Bears lost pace further in the 3rd quarter, as the Branson Pirates relentlessly made score after score. The point difference widened further, leading to the end of the third quarter showing a 20-point difference of 41 to 61, favoring the Pirates.

The fourth quarter opened with a burst of energy from the Bears, making a last stand effort to bridge the gap of points in the game, but were not able to maintain pace, ultimately losing to the Pirates with a final score of 72 to 60.
